Dieters are mixed up even more than before about how to burn fat. They are mixed up about the most effective means of accomplishing the figure that they wish for. They are mixed up about what is effective and what isn't, and why.
There are numerous people running, rowing, climbing, weight lifting and cycling in gyms all over the world as well as those attending aerobics, yoga and pilates classes, all for the same reason - fat burning. Many of those people will be following the most recent diet craze which assures them of amazing weight loss and incredible fat burning.
So how are all these people wishing for a slender and toned body supposed to recognise the difference between all these different programmes recommeded by the so called "gurus"? They are so engrossed in the latest fad that they don't look at the obvious - if they eat healthily and follow a structured focused exercise programme, they will lose their fat for ever.
In the first week or so of any diet, weight will reduce and fat burning will start. However, the dieters are only looking for a finite amount of weight loss, maybe to fit into a dress or a pair of trousers; they aren't looking far into the future, to a long term healthy body, so this diet will last a few weeks then maybe change to a different one.
Following a prescribed "diet" will not lead to long term fat or weight loss because sooner or later, the goal will be reached and the diet will end. As soon as the diet ends, that lost weight and fat will start to build up again because there has been no lifestyle change. What will lead to a lifestyle change is eating healthy food little and often, avoiding saturated fats and sugars and taking up a short, intense training programme. Oh and getting plenty of sleep helps too.
